More News Contributions Needed for New BookBarbara Glanz is working on a new book titled CARE Packages for the Giving Spirit – Ideas for Gifts of Love. The book will be a compilation of people’s CARE Packages stories, so she would love to hear about yours. Have you ever received a CARE Package that made a difference in your life? Have you ever given someone else a CARE Package that meant a lot to them? What is the best gift you have ever received? These are some of the questions to trigger your thinking. The gifts may be material gifts or gifts from the heart such as that of time. They may be large, expensive gifts but most often, they will be small and ordinary. They simply need to be heartwarming or even funny stories of giving and/or receiving. Part of the purpose and mission of the book is to give readers ideas of things THEY can do for others to make this world a little better place! A portion of all the royalties from the book will be given to the CARE organization. Each chapter focuses on a type of gift: Angel Gifts Sometimes we give out of necessity, social custom, or habit. But at other times our giving is out of pure generosity and love, and the feeling that comes from this kind of giving fills the heart and soul with the utmost joy.
